La Corda d'Oro Primo Passo - Étude Op. 10 No. 3, in E major (Violin + Piano) by Frédéric Chopin

Every LCDO Primo Passo fan knows that Chopin's "Tristesse" (meaning 'sadness' in French) was played by Kahoko Hino in the First Selection. What some of you may not know is that the melody inspired the 1950's song entitled "No Other Love" sung by Jo Stafford (my brother likes 'songs of yesteryears' ok?). Just for fun, do try singing the lyrics (below) together with the music and you'll know why it became a Billboard hit in its time. There are YouTube uploads of this song that you can listen to like the one I tagged in the Favorites section of my channel (please visit!) in case you're curious or just being nostalgic!

The music is credited to Paul Weston but is actually derived from Chopin's Étude No. 3 in E. This song reached #10 on the Billboard charts in 1950.

@hawaiiswimmer18, Google 'Strawberry Mint Subs', go to their site, choose Complete, & you'll find links where you can get the torrent files for the Primo & Secondo Passo episodes. I think there are also YouTubers who have posted the eps, though I'm not sure if you can find all 26 of them for PP, 2 for SP.

@shimazu122112 An etude is a type if classical music, Tristesse (which is this song) is an etude and thats how chopin actually titled it kind off

Truth be told, I learned violin because of La Corda Doro, i said to myself that one day i hope to produce such magical sounds just like Kahoko does :)
