how much did it cost to build that? I want to build a huge one someday for a tegu and some water dragons. were going to live in Houston TX so the weather shouldnt be an issue....

Dude, thank you for posting this! I have the same problem, a huge blue tegu spoiled by his own room, and now I've moved but I have my own yard so I might be building exaclty what you have. Nice cage but question . . . . What's the purpose of the big lock when someone can simply cut or rip the chicken wire and take the tegu . . .Other then that good enclousure

@Miros0885 Neighbors have kids. Theyve never come onto our proporty before, but if they did, and opened the cage and got hurt or let the tegu out, that would be very bad. It's more to keep people out than to keep people from stealing him.

@TheUFLacrosse Yeah, they can handle temps as long as its above 35ish. when it gets cold they will hybernate, and then you can just take them inside where he will sleep for 7 months. in south florida you may not have to bring him in at all.
