This is the fourth routine in JuggleMania, featuring devil sticks (a prop I've only very recently started working on) and rings. Most people shy away from rings outside, but I decided to create the typical color change effect by supergluing two rings together for each "ring", creating a heavy ring that is much more wind-resistant than the extra light "wind rings" by Henry's. So I'm actually juggling 10 rings at the end of the video *wink wink*. Next up: the cigar box/shaker cup video!

  • I love the energy and the skill. Are your "double" rings better or worse for grinding?

  • They grind pretty well actually. Probably a little worse though than normal.

  • 4 ring double grind and pancakes = win.

Rings really do need to show up outdoors more often.

  • Great idea with the double rings, ive got an outdoor performance in a couple of weeks and would like to perform a ring passing routine. Are they hard on your hands or affected in any other negative way? I mean would you use them for indoor work as well?

  • you have great coordination. You should look into flowersticks. They have a very different feel from the ones you are using. Since you have the desire to experience a variety of manipulations you might enjoy the different techniques available to you with flower sticks. keep it up. You have style.

  • Good Job Michael! I enjoyed your entire show at Kennywood. It was kinda funny when you were juggling a lamp shade, hammer, and toilet seat. :P

  • Great job! Great idea about making the rings heavier for performing them! I always ruled out rings because they are so wind sensative and most of my shows are outside anyways.....

  • nice work karas. Even though you say you just started devilsticks, the routine looked clean

  • great ring routine... very very fluent :)

  • you never cease to amaze me! ive been doin devil sticks for quite some time and they keep on breaking (i need a better set) great performance
