Yeah, I have a mini to xlr adapter. It works pretty good. I bought a hot shoe mounted mic suspension so I can use an external shotgun microphone. Now that I have the DVX100B, I use the 900 as a B-roll camera.

How would you rate the TRV900 in a scale from 0 to 10?
I may buy one! I want manual controls...

I would rate the TRV900 8 out of 10. It delivers a wonderful picutre, however the audio is less than desirable. If the camera had an xlr input for and external mic I would rate it as an 11. I have upgraded to the Panasonic DVX100B, but the TRV900 is still a useful piece of equipment. Thanks for the comment.
