    I cut glass at 57000 psi. You need to pierce at a low pressure around 12000 psi. The trick is to make sure your abrasive tube is loaded when the valve opens, if

    not you will get a burst of straight water and chip or break the glass at pierce.

  • what pressure do you cut glass at ? What is the trick, we are finding that piercing can be a problem..... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks

  • So a water jet machine can cut tempered glass without shattering it? I would think so, as long as you start your cut at the edge.
