@KingHarrko Could be. MERP uses 100 silver = 1 gold I think so that's probably where my comment came from. Was a long time ago and the books are at my parents' :)

2 scouts has more to do with pangaea and/or map size. You can scout out small/normal continents even with one scout, pangaea is a bit harder due to all the barbarian camps spawning between civs.

Most of my mates also play CiV btw.
