Letter to Palin by one of Giffords' cousins: http://bit.ly/hvqooO

Facebook Page: http://bit.ly/fmHxfa

This is a follow up to my last video which became somewhat controversial as people twisted my words around. I still stand behind what I said, but I'm afraid barely anyone listened to what I said. Hear me out; we cannot jump to conclusions about Loughner's life or his influences. Palin and Beck were not helping matters, but they might have no direct connection to this. Hating Jared will not solve anything.

I mention some results of the shooting including gun control legislation from Republicans and Democrats as well as the right wing reactions. Limbaugh, who is quoted as saying he wants all liberals killed, is jumping on the political-assigning bandwagon in saying that Jared is a Democrat. I still believe his views aren't on the modern American spectrum.

Anyway, this is about 32 minutes of footage condensed into 14 minutes, so if it seems choppy, I apologize, but that's why that's happening. If it's not a crisis to you, it's not a crisis to me.

  • GREAT video my Revolutionary friend! Once again, great points, although I'm still not sure whether I agree with you on whether we should forgive Loughner.

Well, have a great day man!

    And I assure you...

...I saw your previous video in its entirety! ;)

  • I agree 100%, I saw some of the comments on the first video you made. I can't believe some people can be so damn ignorant. Forgiving someone is much harder to do than giving into thoughts of vengeance, but at the end of the day, it's also much more rewarding. Of course they shouldn't let him go (obviously) but killing him won't change anything at all. Nobody is beyond redemption in my opinion, I believe he could change with help. Also, great choice of music.

  • Uh, weren't liberals the ones jumping to conclusions and blaming everyone but the gunman? In fact, they were singing a different tune when if came to Fort Hood.

  • Put an end to rhetoric? Like the way the left attacked people who were opposed to Obamacare? I remember all the name calling from the left and how millions will die if it's not past. Well now your dear leader is handing out waivers to all those big evil corporations. As for the Palin cross hairs, the left/Democrats used the same thing so get off it. Gun control? Try it. Please. Its called political suicide. Not everyone wants to rely on .Gov to protect them cause we all know they can't or won't.

  • I generally agree. I neither feel hate nor forgiveness for Loughner because I don't know him or anyone involved in the situation. But I do feel sad about all the negativity surrounding the situation and what it says about our society. I will say also that I feel more (general) compassion for crazy people like Loughner than I will ever feel for people like Palin and Beck. I respect the views of MLK and Ghandi, but I'm not that forgiving.
