hey this is great, mate! I saw a review complaining about g tab's heavily-modified android OS, but installing gingerbread solves that! nice emphasis on backing-up; I'm a freak out backups.

could i install this custom rom on a g tab right out of the box or do i need to have previous versions of vegan?

@marlo916 I flashed it,and it went fine...Im still on GB,but Im thinking about going back to 5.1.1,when the tablet wakes up from sleep on GB,about 70% of the time,it wont,and has to reboot ...very annoying.It is very fast,but video playback is limited. GB changed the SD card storage on the tablet,coming from an android phone,I find the tablet storage very confusing.

@JohnDiMartino it's easy, i never did it before either. the only hard part for me was trying to find the update driver button for the APX, but it looks like you've got that done.

did i miss the part where you nvflash?? or did you not have to do that... and for some reason, yours seems a lot faster than mine running RC1... and i barely have any apps.

You can see from the video that I came from Vegan 5.1.1 and had no issue... although that is no guarantee that you will not... even so... check your build number and if you will need to partition first... others have had this issue and I had to partition to get the market to work on one of my earlier videos... this could cause you issues if you haven't already partitioned... search XDA forums for more info on said partitioning.
