  • yeah... just change a couple of words... why hasn't anyone thought of that?

    You're a freakin' genius!

  • @tsunayoshisawada I'm not sure what planet you're getting your figures from, but SS is entirely self-financing. There is no trust fund. Payroll taxes finance SS. If you need anymore proof that SS is broke I suggest you look at the last time there was a Cost of Living Adjustment. BTW I am counting on SS not being around by the time I retire, and unlike you, I have what's called personal responsibility, and have my own retirement savings.

  • @tsunayoshisawada Restoring sound money would be first priority. Then massive cuts. I'd start with the wars, the nation building, the military/industrial complex. Next would be to cut government waste and fraud, all together creating a budget surplus. At the same time lower taxes, particularly the corporate income tax (which is the highest in the world, so there goes your raising taxes argument) which would create jobs AND increase revenue. Then we could reform the entitlement system.

  • @tsunayoshisawada " your personal wellbeing doesn't matter. its the overall that matters." This is a demonstration of your ignorance. Those two statements are complete contradictions. My wellbeing doesn't matter, just everyone elses? Aren't individuals part of the overall? There is no reasoning with people who are illogical, YOU just don't get it.

  • @jedmondson67 also, you're wrong, the SS system is nowhere near broke. it has enough money to last until 2032 WITHOUT any more funding. that includes helping out the baby boom generation, which isn't exactly helpful to this country. the ss system is vital. and we all know that you'd be complaining about it not existing if you where retired and dependent upon it for survival. your personal wellbeing doesn't matter. its the overall that matters. why dont you conservatives get that?

  • @jedmondson67 and you all claim that taxes are the issue? yeah. nothing is free. so how are you going to fix the economic crisis? cut everything that costs any more money? nope. that wont work. taxes are the only way to do it. and i have no issue paying more taxes, as long as everyone else does too. thats the way ciziliation works. unless everyone will work for free, and everything is free, then nothing can be free. including the government. so the citizens have to pay up.

  • @smithjohnson

SS is not going broke, it IS broke. The whole damn country is broke. It's people like you and the rest of the believers in "free" health care and "free" this and "free" that who are to blame. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch. This is econ 101, Government can't spend us into prosperity with money it doesn't have! Why don't liberals get it?!

  • @RevolutionaryJam sorry wrong vid

  • lol "under socialism there is an attempt to make people homogenous" lol lol lol generalisation much?

  • Call 911 and ask for Obama.

  • @ironclad452 Give me textual proof that Jesus was a capitalist. Because the only thing Biblical I remember concerning Jesus and capitalism was him angrily chasing merchants from the temple and calling them thieves. Mind you, though, IIRC, he was more angry about them using the temple as a selling-ground than at their actual practice...
