i like sellcent.com free to list and they give you $100 seller account credit when you sign up.

It appears that OPT-INs are now back!
Still unsure?
Place your aweber-generated opt-in form on your eBay ABOUTME page.
To check-out eBay's Link Policy -
first go to eBay's website,
click on HELP (in the upper right corner),
then search for 'link policy'
(it should be the first one listed in the search results.)

Good Stuff Jim.
Are you related to Silent Jay ? :)
I am sad to hear about these new restrictions, as I have just now decided to get involved with this.
It would seem like it is very easy for Ebay to block a link, so I don't know why they don't just do that instead of suspending acounts like renegaderealtor experienced.
Anyway the lead generation and using Aweber is a great idea.
I am heading over to your site right now to see what it is all about.

One last question. If you forward your email to aweber, how can ebay contact you if they have some admin email they want to send out?
Thanks again

Good stuff Jim. How come you only have 3 stars. It should be 5 stars

I'm not using regular auctions. I just have links in my classified ad. Since their exact policies on them aren't quite public, at worst they'll just take the ads down and give me a refund (the first time anyway).
Wouldn't you need a unique ebay account with the associated email address for every different promotion to automate this with Aweber? If you didn't, every inquiry would go to your default ebay account e-mail address.
Thanks for the info!

you just need a different email address for each ebay account and you can have as many as you'd like. There's no ebay policy against it.

I have two ebay classified ads with links in them, and they're gonna stay that way until ebay makes it crystal clear to everybody, not just a select few. I'm probably not gonna post more anytime soon though, it may be cheap but I'm still new (and thus suck at it) at online marketing so I don't get hits very fast. I did manage to sell something worth 4 times the price of the ad though, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

eBay has yet to officially post any policies on classified ads, but Brian Burke the head of trust and safety has told us what the rules are (see the link in the video). BOTTOM LINE: eBay classified ads totally ROCK as a lead generation toll DESPITE any announced or pending policy changes.
