Likewise, I know I am going to get the rerelease of Beauty and the Beast as well, but I will be getting the regular 2-Disc DVD release of the film (That's because I don't have a Blu-ray player nor an HD TV) which won't be until November 23, 2010. Of course, that will also mean that I will have 2 DVD versions of the film since I also recently managed to find and purchase a used copy of the 2002 2-Disc Platinum Edition DVD of Beauty and the Beast as well.

Excellent DVD and Blu-ray update video even though you only got 3 Blu-rays. Likewise, since you now have a Blu-ray player and an HD TV, I have one big question for you: Are you going to get the new Diamond Edition Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack of Beauty and the Beast? I really think you should because Beauty and the Beast is my all-time favorite Disney animated movie classic, and I would be extremely happy if you got Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray so I wish you good luck.

Great update man. I mainly pick up stuff on Blu that is either cheap or has a specific Bluray edition. Not super into replacing stuff since I have such a big collection but if there are extra features and it's the right price I will get it on Blu. That and new movies.

It takes about 2 years or so before you get hooked. I now stick to only blu-ray unless the film has an amazing release on DVD and/or it isn't on Bluray.

YES!!! Bring on the HD!!! :D You know, the best thing about Blu-Ray taking over is the fact that DVDs are gonna be really cheap! Ca-ching!!! American Psycho is an awesome film! Hilarious, in yet scary at the same time. Both Ace Ventura films would make anyone cry from laughter, funny as hell! Awesome update, looking foward to future Blu-Ray additions :D
