@jewel1260 Yeah,, I probably like Cream's version because I'm such a guitar fanatic. I brought up T-bone Walker because he is the one that actually wrote the song. Not may people realize that this song is almost 70 years old.

@slobnoxious Hi. Thanks for letting me know @ T-Bone Walker's & Cream's version of Stormy Monday. I did listen to them both but I still feel that Eva Cassidy's version is still the best. She has an excellent feel, timing, & edge for Stormy Monday that IMO far surpasses the other versions. No disrespect to the other artists meant. It's very difficult for a singer to take a song and change the style & way a song is sung without messing it up. This woman had the gift that few people do today.

It's not Etta's song, it's T-Bone Walker's, and the best version outside of the original was done by Cream at their reunion concert at Royal Albert Hall back in 2005.
No slight at all to this version, which is quite nice.
