C'mon guys it's not about gear. Great playing. I couldn't work out Akira's style at all it seemed so frenetic. Great vid. Davo

@Dav0London Thank you! I'm getting so tired of answering all these gear questions... especially since my entire equipment setup is listed on my channel. >:[ Anyways! Thank you so much man. He is a really hyper drummer but in an awesome way! I love watching/listening to him play. So exciting.

awesome! what time signature used in the song??

@wlswlswlswls This song is in 5/4, although the first groove (and whenever it's repeated) is in groups of three measures, which makes it kind of odd.

Ah! What a lovely video. Capital performance! I tip my hat (thought I'm not wearing one) to you and your kit; moreover, I must ask you what kind of ride you are using. It emits such a delightful sound.
Forgive me for my curiosities, but I've also been itching to know how some YouTube drummers/performers, such as yourself, are able to create a recording so clean and crisp. Please explain what it is you are doing if you can.

@TGS300 Hahah, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. I used a Zildjian 22" K Light Ride in this video. For this cover, I used a ZOOM portable recorder to record the drums. I know a lot of YouTube drummers just have mics and an interface to record straight to the computer, I just don't have that kinda money. :P
