@MadMax82043 Its been a while since you posted but I believe its important to note that the Iaf has successfully defended israel time after time. Now, irregardless of where the aircraft is made the question is it sufficient to achieve air to air superiority? You have to admit; Mcdonald Douglass came up with a winner when they made the F-15. Im sure most of the F-15 pilots in both the Isreali and american airforce would agree.

the F15i and the F16i are Israeli versions are totally different from the US version of the F16 or F15
they are totally modified by the Israeli air force to meet the needs of the IAF
in addition israeli technology is far Superior then most western countries

I think Israel Airforce should forget about the F-35 and get the F15SE Silent Eagle instead, as they contribute half of F-15 kills, and first ever user of F-15 achieved combat kills.
