According to Colin Powell, the purpose of the United States military is to "apply state violence." (Meet the Press, June 10, 2007). Along these same lines, Carl von Clausewitz wrote that "war is the domain of physical exertion and suffering." One could perhaps rationalize the increasing magnitude of human suffering in Iraq if this were indeed a "war of necessity." However, it is now clear that war with Iraq was always a "choice," never a "necessity." There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. There was no imminent threat to the United States or any other country.

In the July 30th issue of The Nation, Chris Hedges & Laila Al-Arian summarize interviews that The Nation conducted with fifty combat veterans of the war in Iraq. These interviews suggest that indiscriminate violence directed towards Iraqi civilians may be the "rule" rather than the "exception." It is also common for military personnel to refer to Iraqis as camel jocks, rag-heads, and sand-niggers. One of the interviewed soldiers stated that "if they don't speak English and they have darker skin, they're not as human as us, so we can do what we want."

When the entire population of a Muslim nation is unceremoniously demoted to a sub-human status in order to rationalize indiscriminate brutality against innocent human beings, we have clearly lost our moral compass.

  • Good job Yazoom, keep up the good work, people need to see this. Americans will go down like every great nation before it. When a countrys morals and ethics fall, the country falls. America is to arrogant to see it coming, but its coming. Iraq war, why? mass murder by Americans, why? Americas ignorance about the culture, traditions, and religion of Iraq is arrogance in itself. If this is democracy, please keep it to yourself!

  • glad you understand why people watch these videos and cry over them :)

  • dear mauimom.

islam did not do anything wrong. people did. no christian religion did anything wrong, like burning "witches" and sending thousands of children to death in the name of jesus in the dark ages - people did. you dont believe in god or jesus, do you? you only believe in the u.s., i guess. (sounds like it) you know... so much hatred and war and inhumanity is brought to this world by people who talk about gods and religions and believe in - power and money. i really feel sorry for you!

  • You know what else? I didn't shed one damn tear over this vid. What about the children of 9/11? SCREW MOHAMMED and every single raghead who follows this sociopathic, child molesting, murdering, thieving, lying, demonic cult leader. I gurantee you he burns in hell right now.

  • Islam did this, Islam created this. This was nothing more than a restrained response to Islamic aggression against the U.S, and the murder of thousands of our citizens. These scense are NOTHING compared o the true firepower and warfare the U.S could have un-leashed. Believe me, his is a drop in the bucket. If the U.S really wanted to, we could have annhilated these people out of existence without even sending one of our soldiers over there.

  • So let the Islamist cult have them. That's the right thing to do. They will be much safer. Very moral.

  • @muminahaq Golda Meir said "We will never have peace until they love their own children more than they hate us". If you are bothered by pictures of dead children- then blame the cause: Islam.

  • As an ex Muslim I will tell you- muslims do NOT love their children. They strap bombs to them and make them be mules to carry bombs and teach them hatred and to kill jews. This "is" sad- but don't be mad at Israel or USA. A murderer goes to prison and leaves his children to starve. Are you mad at the police then for starving his children? It's called Personal Responsibilty. The hatred inside muslims caused everything you portray in this video.

  • i love this video. it make me so very happy too see all them sand nigger cry. thank you so very much for sharing this video with us ....

  • Busch and the Externed political american are the EVIL and the Antichrist

  • @barnetfan1, That's not a fair question, its a war. Do you think American Forces went there to purposely kill children? Did you know that many U.S. Troops do their best to avoid killing the innocent? My Brother was based in Iraq for 18 months (2003-2004) and spent most of his time entertaining Iraqi children. He came home and literally broke down and cried because he couldn't make more of a difference to help them.
