    Does this work as well as crunches and/or sit-ups? I have problems doing those because my gut gets in the way. I'm not looking to get a six-pack, mind you; I just want to get to the point where I can tie my shoes without feeling like someone's strangling me...

    Just do 2 minutes of planking in the morning and before bedtime and youll see a difference in 2 weeks...do 20 push ups afther the planking as well or 10 each time...i did it for 4 days and i started feeling my stamoch hardened
