Lucie Arnaz pays tribute to her Mother, Lucille Ball, with this showstopping number from the 1960 Broadway musical WILDCAT, with music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, arranged and Lucie's longtime conductor/arranger Ron Abel, performed in concert at Jim Caruso's Birdland nightclub in New York City. Ms. Arnaz received A Theatre World Award and Drama Desk Award for her Broadway debut in THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG, and also appeared on The Main Stem in DIRTY ROTTEN , LOST IN YONKERS and the national tour of SEESAW. Her vast list of TV credits range from THE LUCY SHOW to her own THE LUCIE ARNAZ SHOW, as well as notable guest appearances on LAW & ORDER, THE TONY AWARDS and others, and her films include THE JAZZ SINGER and 2009s critically acclaimed THE PACK.

I still seem to like the Lucille ball version better but this is a great rendition.

As a teenager, Lucie Arnaz was probably almost like an understudy to her mom when she was doing Wildcat on Broadway.
