Ive driven gt's and my brother owns a 2001 gls vr6 stickshift and it is pretty quick.. now I think that if it was the auto eclipse you cant compete with that jetta vr6... auto eclipse 0-60mph-8ish secs. stick- 7.9ish...

They shoulda kept using the DOHC 3.0's from the 3000GT's/Stealths in the Eclipses. They woulda been much meaner.

the sohc engine in the 3g eclipse is still pretty mean. the only reason people dont like the 3g eclipse is because of the lack in aftermarket support
