I find a smooth transition from Mac to PC with this R600. The keyboard feels great and has a similar design as Mac. The only thing I don't like is that this is a PC, so I can't avoid those troubles that one would encounter with a PC.
The keyboard seems to be a "Canadian Bilingual (English/French) Keyboard". If you look at pictures of the US version, you can see that it has a normal key placement.
I just tried out the R600 with Canadian keyboard yesterday, and agree it's awful. I won't be buying this one unless I can find a way of getting the standard US English keyboard.
