I remember that when I heard of this I broke out in tears. My sister Kayla next to me. I cried myself to sleep that day. On the day of her burial only little tears were left.

I was there in Coney Island that day. I remember playing in the sand with my friends, then all of a sudden, i hear helptopters. I saw this one red helicopter with a plus sign on it, and it landed. Thats all i can remember from that day.

OMG! i am so sad that this happened! it is stupid for 3 life gaurds to just be standing there! i knew this girl, she went to my school ( p.s.188 michael E. Berydy) her family came and they were crying, and they planted a tree in the schools yard.

God Bless you Akira an angel went back home to heaven. I was there that Saturday one section over and saw the commotion. When I heard it was a 10 year old I cried and hugged my daughter.
