January 2009 artic ice is virtually identical to January 2000 in an actual model, not a prediction. One cold winter and we could have more than 1979. 2008 and 2009 were cold winters.

when the temperature was 6 degrees higher than today there was still ice at the north pole how do we know because its in the core samples taken from the ice

It is a fact that all of our historically reliable scientific institutions have concluded about the same on the core issue. HUMANS are warming the planet mainly through the use and fossil fuels and through deforestation.

If you insist on the "proof" I suggest you grab an education in the field before attempting tackle this very complex science.

Yes, that is all that the naysayers have to offer. It comes with plenty of hype but no scientific instutional support and no peer reviewed studies. Some prefer to parrot the disinformation spread by the vested interests. The rational, the informed understand that a climate crisis is occurring.
