If playing through EoSD is like skipping through a field of flowers, Stage 4 is where all the thorny roses start to gather and annoy you, and Stage 5 is where the field ends and you accidentally skip off a cliff.

Random clusterfucks of bullets everywhere, overlapping waves of bullets vaguely aimed at you, and almost no room after the midboss, it's just a gigantic migraine. And it has Sakuya.

SAKUYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Midboss - Sakuya Izayoi (十六夜 咲夜)
Sakuya's cards don't allow for excessive room. Everything is micrododging and the smallest mistake kills you. That and I can't tell the hitbox of her knives which leads to many deaths where I start yelling WHAT THE FUCK JUST HIT ME ;_;

Conjuring [Misdirection]
奇術「ミスディレクション」
This one used to be completely unbeatable for me without bombing because I'd always stay in the middle. Then I realized how much easier it gets when you move to the side. Still just barely captured this, thanks to a lucky dodge at the end.


And then the most ridiculous load of random bullets in the history of the series. This part is complete bullshit and I would have bombed the hell out of it if I, y'know, had any left. D:


Stage Boss - Sakuya Izayoi (十六夜 咲夜)
As a stage boss, Sakuya's not much different. She just has more knives that move in more unpredictable directions.

Illusion Existence [Clock Corpse]

The first card is fairly straightforward. At least, by Sakuya standards. Very irritating in any case, but at least the patterns of the blue knives are somewhat predictable.

Illusion Image [Luna Clock]
幻象「ルナクロック」
THIS CARD
MAKES NO SENSE
AT ALL.
EVER.
Seriously wtf. Lines of blue knives turn into green knives and move in completely random directions. This card is made of hatred and cancer. The capture here was complete luck.

Maid Secret Skill [Marionette]
メイド秘技「操りドール」
This card can be controlled slightly. At the beginning, if you position yourself over Sakuya, she'll fire her knives above her, letting you move below and pummel her with your shot.
Unfortunately Reimu is very slow and I couldn't do this in time! :D
Had to bomb here, but at least I survived. ):
