just because kabjkm7 can not handle a regen/autodyne
receiver does not mean the T-1253 is a bum receiver
ive made tons of contacts using one on 80, 40, and 20 cw
i does not drift any worse than a older superhet
its quite easy to use on ssb
its a fb simple autodyne receiver

1253 is too drifty and not selective enough for ssb.
