Erica Hill and Chris Wragge speak with financial expert Ray Martin, who offers advice and steps every American should take in order to preserve their assets in the midst of a nationwide recession.
I realize that no-one thinks about this in our debates about a Recession. IF the Companys who supply the Fuel to operate the Millions of Automobiles in America...were to Consider the following : As the Gas Companys Hike Up the Price of Gas....the very Autos that use their products are not built to be Miserly or Gas Economy minded. That plus the ridiculous high prices of Cars today....Gee I wonder WHY the Auto Industry went Bankrupt awhile back...?
It is difficult to believe that someone that wrote essays on the Depression came to the conclusions that he did. Did he research these essays? If he had he would understand that it was the intervention of the government that made a recession into a depression. Hoover didn't sit back and do nothing, he intervened and made it worse, the FDR was a catastrophe. Go back and look at the unemployment figures from 29 to 41. It took a world war and 20 million men going overseas to cure unemployment.
bernanke understand better than anyone??? i know this video is old but, good grief.
