This guy did NOT die.. He simply opened a dry switch and it let out the fire, but he wasn't even burned. It's ridiculous the number of people who spew out "HE DIED" like they have a fucking clue.

@nickbz83 I rack these types of brakers at work (4.1 and 4.8kv.) They are so well built, I could not see how ours could be installed incorrectly. I am thinking the breaker was closed (big mistake, check semaphore), , and he racked it into a solid fault, and the breaker failed in his face. After seeing this video, I ALWAYS stand to the side of the cabinet, not in front, with full PPE, so only my arm is exposed.

I saw this video in school when I was an apprentice. Supposedly the breaker was not aligned properly and as he racked it in he crossed the phases. They also said he was not an electrician, he was a building engineer. Also he absolutely died, ppe probably can't help you in an incident this severe. Ibew for life
