Love This Song!!!

well, even though it's not quite as prevalent now, a lot of jazz organists definitely rocked the foot pedals...it's not just a church/classical music thing...Jimmy Smith for example
-
AMAZING!

@jazzZjosh123 jazz/funk organists usually dont use the feet for basslines. mostly for accents or if they need to hit a real low bassy note.

Key thing is Touissant is Complete trash..thats why that idea failed.....

@micah275987 Agreed... Neal Evans is one of the best bass players I've ever heard, and he doesn't even play the bass! That left hand is a gem.
Yes that's right. To all the other's that are wondering, B3 player's never play bass lines with they're feet. If the pedal board is used it's used for a percussive/accenting effect.
The only time pedals are used on an organ for musical line is in church or classical music.

@JanCarlo88 true haha never footing it with the group!

this may be true, but if you look at him, he never uses his feet, but his left hand for these funky lines !
i think they shouldn't add a bassist cuz the group is tight the way it is right now. if it aint broke dont fix it. neal is insane. hats off to neal. much respect.

agreed. no need for a bassist. and a vocalist takes away from their freedom and puts a new focus on their sound. i like em as 3. (and thats coming from a vocalist)
