@mxtx100 I would liken this game to the Avalon Hill "Monster Games" of the 70's. It is a niche within a niche, So it's definitely not for everyone. And I stand by my original statement, This is about as hardcore as pc wargaming gets.

@mxtx100 Well the level of micromanagement all depends on how deep you want to go. Many people are perfectly content with playing the smaller scenarios which require much less of said micromanagement. And it is the sheer breadth of this game and the amount of options you have at your disposal that make it hardcore, Not the micromanagement. There are many games that require (imo) too much unnecessary micromanagement, Like several RTS games I could mention, And these are clearly not "hardcore".
