G. Chaitin on Metabiology (UCM Madrid) (day 1 part 1)

This is the first of a series of three seminars delivered by prof. Gregory Chaitin on Metabiology during his visit to prof. Martin-Delgado's group at UCM, Madrid. It took place on the 24th of October 2011 at the Sala de Grados of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
The title is:
"Algorithmic information as a fundamental concept in physics, mathematics, and biology".
The abstract:
"We use software models to discuss what is a law of physics, what are the limitations of the axiomatic method, and to analyze Darwin's theory of evolution."
