Asalamalaykoum! Sorry for the lenght of this video, I can be a little long winded at times. We've decided to homeschool year round (some weekends too!) The children seem to love it so far Alhumdullilah!! My 7yo and I managed to get a little done today and I wanted to share some of what was done MashaAllah!! I will leave you with this *Verily, with every difficulty There is relief. Therefore, when thou are free still labour hard, and to thy Lord turn thy attention.* (Surah 94:6-8) Always makes me feel better, gives me strength!! Website for montessori activites we use: www.mymontessorijourney.com

  • @faro0485 Salamalakoym, we use biofeedback techniques for him as well as diet and InshaAllah will soon start ABA therapy as well. We live in a small community and have a hard time finding and and paying for the dr's and lab tests needed as well as the acutal chelation therapy. So we focus on what we are able to do and ask Allah to guide us with the choices we make.

  • MashaAllah Sister Ejahi for the kind words! I will most certainly look into the Sensorial activites on the web, we do lean a little more toward the Montessori approach with him be cause it is so hands on and straight forward. Thanks again for the suggestions!!

  • Wa alaykum assalam.

Your seven year old is autistic you say? How interesting. Have you attempted to identify if the autism is related to mercury poisoning? And followed on with chelation therapy? /watch?v=q9UKec6durQ

  • The work you have set up for your son sis reminds me of a Montessori approach. One of the subjects in there curriculum is Sensorial. There are some great links on the web that show you how to make your own Sensorial activities. One major one is Wikisori. You are a great mom! I believe with the love you have for your child you teaching him will really help him blossom.
