@Plevell That's how I always imagined it would be. I'm not legal yet, but as soon as I'm legal, I'm jumping on the absinthe bandwagon. It just fascinates me. Everything about it. The lore, the history, the paraphernalia. Any advice?

@MartyredxMaiden we, who drink absinth drink it simply in 2 steps.. 1. pour into glass, 2. drink it ;) im glad i have never seen any morons ruining it with flame or sugar

The best way to drink the Absinthe is avoid the sugar cube and just slowly add icy water(drips)until absinthe is cloudy colour and drink it slow to enjoy the best taste in flavour.Cheers

1.- You're supposed to light the sugar lump only, if the absinthe lights on fire, you need to blow it off (to avoid tainting the absinthe and the glass to heat up)
2.- The sugar lump is not supposed to burn, when it begins to caramelize, you put immediately the water.
