Open is the new video clip from the Kahn Brothers.

Having a few days off in Los Angeles after touring in the US, the Kahn Brothers set about on two scooters, a hand held camera and friends to make a video for Open. Nothing was really planned, but to have fun, scoot and shoot. Everything else opened of its own accord... "We set out to buy some sharp suits from a second hand store and came back with two prison jump suits and afros...hmmm."

From there unfolded the Blues Brothers style idea about breaking out of jail to play a show, our location, the infamous Hollywood Bowl amphitheatre. Driving around LA in orange suits and afros we certainly got some interesting looks and laughs, we even had some kids come up to ask if we were filming Jack Ass.

As things unfolded we ended up in the Hollywood Christmas parade. People thought we were a part of the parade and were screaming out "go Afro dudes" and the commentators played along announcing over the PA as we passed by "kahn brothers now playing at a correctional institute near you."

We thought we would get to the Hollywood Bowl and maybe just busk out the front in the parking lot but when we got there we noticed a limo was parked out the front. The driver was a young guy studying music production and was keen to help out, he had an hour before he had to pick up his clients and that's where the limo scenes came from...pure serendipity.

After that we decided to walk into the bowl -- and so we did and no one was around or came out to stop us. So that was our first gig at the Hollywood Bowl -- the next one will be to a packed house!!
