I can understand ur feelings but before judging others(oscars),tell me how many regional languages cinema or movies gets recognition inside or throughout  india ?Answer:None.

As an Indian, i dont know why to be proud of this awards ,as INDIAN won this . From a couple of decades rehman had given even more fasinating music in INDIAN movies,but no one recognized them bcos they are indian movies .its now he is considered for oscar bcos its a britan movie(hollywood).. see the dirty politics of oscar comitee..shame . i ask the oscar academy to listen to his indian musics..this slumdogs,slum music is not even 0% beteer than them.

how come Rasol Pookutty is completely ignored by our rehman mania tamil people or the totally unknown other ordinary Smile Pinky and slum kids..? in fact ARR atleast is an established music director.....so this is typically why our one billion people did nt come up with a single gold in last Olimpic...cose our people live in a dream worlds and can see only ARR or a Tandulkar in their minds eye and other much more intelligent stuff dont matter
