Hi, my name is Julia Ritzenthaler and I'm the owner and founder of unique vanities dot com. And in today's video I wanted to share a couple of inexpensive ideas on how you can spruce up your bathroom without necessarily going through an entire remodel.

Hopefully you'll be able to take a couple of things away today. We spend a lot of time in our bathroom and it's really important that's it's fresh and clean and enjoyable. Obviously one of the simplest things you could do is a fresh coat of paint. Something that any of us could do and a new coat of paint will totally change up what your current bathroom looks like

A couple other simple ideas is changing out the light fixture. If you don't have to make any major electrical moves and it's just taking out one light fixture and changing it out with a new one it's pretty inexpensive.

Changing out bathroom accessories for example change out your towel holders. Another idea would be to put a new mirror up. A mirror can change, even from a traditional to a contemporary look just by changing the mirror.

One thing that is a little bit bigger but you could find at a discount is a bathroom vanity. There are several ways to find a bathroom vanity at a discounted price. One way would be to take a look at your local stores and see if there are any discontinued items. You might want to also consider the internet. Maybe find an e commerce retailer they might have some discounted or promotional items that may work. Another idea is here in Dallas we have Habitat for Humanity which is a place that contractors donate maybe new or used goods from projects that go to a good cause. You might be able to pickup a discount vanity there.

Another idea might be to convert an old dresser or sideboard into a vessel sink vanity. Hopefully one of these ideas will be simple enough for you to implement and add a new look to your bathroom.
