I grew up in this town and have to say I'm ashamed to even admit it! I think it's pathetic and disgusting to have an anti-immigration rally right after an immigrant was beaten to death! The sad reality is that this man, who has a family, was killed because he was different! We are all technically immigrants, so I think it's hypocritical and down right ignorant to complain about people coming into the country. Whether you're here legally or not, no one has the right to kill or hurt you... period!

just like spanish speaking conquisedors came to south america and refused to learn the atzec or mayan languages, and killed off most of the indians in south america, and forced spanish---a european language---on the indians of south america.

spanish is a european language, from thousands of miles across the ocean, and those racists came to the americas to force their racist language on indians.
