  • PETTER NOTHUG THUG OF THE NORTH FTW

  • I was dissapointed, but not upset. If someone other than the US had to win, I was glad it was the Canadians and not the Russians.

  • It`s amazing that norway is on the top 4 !!!!!!!

  • @SGhockeychika4 Well, I disagree

  • @SGhockeychika4 Outside the US, you hear Yankee or Yank as a term to describe Americans fairly frequently. By giving that statement about it, you make yourself look like an ass. Its just a word.

  • @SGhockeychika4 Jepp, and thats why they are doing allright. But they miss out on the effect of having millions of people practising the sport on a weekly basis, This is the effect that breeds tallent in the western world and in regards to this effect the number og active people within the sport is important and this will ofthen depend heavily on the population of the country., But because of poverty China has relatively few people practising sports the way we do in the western world.

  • @SGhockeychika4 actually Norway among others also have a surplus. But a surpulus in a countrys trade or economy dosent nesseseraly mean that the people in the country are better off than a country that dosent have a surplus at that time. I have lived in the States for a year and been to China. And people in the States generally have more money and more free time to focus on sports while the general people in china dont have the same luxury of fokusing on sports to the same degree.

  • @SGhockeychika4 Actually no. Im not Canadian, im Norwegian so no im way aheah of you when it comes to totall winter olympic medals 303 to your 253. And we only have a fraction of your population (and before you say anything, yes you guys rule the summer olympics). But population is obviously a factor to consider as well as wealth (the reason china and india sucks) and many other factors like weather. But my point is I dont think a system where you count all medals as equall is a good one.

  • @SGhockeychika4 Yes I am, in the sense that a gold is a better acheivement than silver. If we are just going to say oh we have this many medals then why stop at bronze, we should be counting fourth places and fifth and so on. My point is a victory is worth more than a second place in the same way that a third place is worth more than a fourth..

  • @nonamebrand0 agreed their jrs are looking good but alot of our pros are youngish show it will be an intresting russian olympics

  • im glad we beat the yanks, but Ryan Miller really deserved a gold medal. Team USA seems to be getting better every year, I think its only a matter of time before they get some gold (Olympic or IIHF)

  • i just said i'm canadian, and i wouldn't want people to know i'm a socialist canbadian, where fags, rag headed terrorists, and communists walk the streets without fear of persecution.
