Firefly Theme (Ballad of Serenity) Acoustic Cover

I got the ruttin' boxed set of "Firefly" for Christmas this year. So, for the "Firefly" fans like myself...

It should probably be capoed up a bit--like on the second or third fret--but my voice is shaky enough as it is that trying to sing capoed up doesn't work well with me. :-) Also, you can see my Channel for a three-part tutorial on how to play this song.

C-G-D-A-Em

Final Four Chord Alteration:
C-D (You can't take the sky from me)
C-A (pull off of A to get that 'flattening' sound)

Opening Lick (By string):
E: 0-3 A: 0-3-0 E: 3 A: 0

The Bridge is fancier (with fingerpicking) in the recorded version. I just use C-G-A-B and then back into the last verse (Note: I actually use a kind of modified G/D chord in this take).

hmm i'm really looking for a version in the original key with the original tuning. also not bad version yourself tho you should have another look at the intro it's not the same

You're correct on all counts--it's not a "replica" cover. The tuning should be dropped on the bass string, the intro is timed differently with (slightly) different positions, and, of course, the bridge is fancier.
