Great visual and instructions. Your son is so cute! He is very verbal as well. It looks like you share and spend a lot of time with him.... wonderful! I don't have access to cad software. Could you give some tips as to how to accomplish this curve without this software? It looks like this could be the arc of a circle .... if this is true, what is the radius of the circle?

What did you make the trough out of? I've been wanting to make one of these, but really didn't have the right idea of how to go about it. If a three year old can do it, then I know I can!!

The trough is a sheet of mirrorized plastic, 8 feet by 3 feet. The trough rests along a parabolic shaped groove that is created by plywood. The plastic also rests on the wooden struts.
