@naturalbeautyqween The young black boy was acting up in school after being told multiple times to behave. And he's young and black, already at a high risk for not even graduating. I feel as if the punishment fit the crime in that case. The judge talk to her like she was shit over downloading a dam video game which she had already been disciplined for by the mom before the video even started. Its a lil much in my opinion.

@beannie51 You are so right. The statute of limitations on prosecuting child abuse needs to change. It is too short. By time a kid is ready to tell someone or give testimony in court against an abuser, it is longer than a few years later usually. The statute of limitations should not limit prosecuting child abusers to just a few years after the abuse. It needs to allow people to be prosecuted long after that. I'm sick and tired of hearing about short statutes of limitation on this.

I was very angry with this situation. What I saw is nothing short of, Aggravated Child Abuse and that caries 15 to 20 years. But oh no they cant charge him nor her Mother with anything. Statue of Limitation is up. We need to come together knock on the White House Doors and Congress and start demanding to take the Statue of Limitation and throw it out the door. Because No Child deserves to be treated like this. Justice is failing specially in Texas.
