The only reason the dog is walking a bit funny is because he can't properly feel the ground under him, and is probably not used to them. He is not in distress. everyone calm your tits.

Many dogs do, in fact, need human intervention to survive. Bulldogs, as a prime example, are unable to give birth normally. They can not breed without human intervention. Heck, a lot of longer haired breeds need regular human grooming. Have you SEEN what happens when a dog with thicker fur is left ungroomed?
Also, comparing wild animals to domesticated animals is really quite silly. They are very, very different in nature.

asphault and gravel are horrible for the pads on dogs feet.. i had a lab once who would wear his pads to bloody rags if i didnt boot him... god people have some faith in the owners!!
