Tin Pan Alley, Brill Building, you never had better than this. The chromatic content, and the harmonies made, in this song are mind-blowing - as for the intriguing poetry, I take it to be a devotional song - Christ is not mentioned by name and I'm sure Stevie wanted/left it that way. The only danger of misunderstanding here is that the listener might decide to worship this artist.

The 1st Christian Contemporary Artist ever has never been recognized by the GMA and that's my friend and mentor Stevie Wonder. If someone ever got the idea way back when that a Christian could put a message in a song and be heard by the world at large, it came from this brother right here. RECOGNIZE!

There are none I can see so far, & I have a major in English... why can't such self- acknowledgement of spelling be used by those who REALLY need it?! :o)

Stevie Wonder a true musical Genius! The orchestration is phenomenal! (pardon any spelling errors)

@TwelthSignENT Yes! Twelth, the Strings sociology is the BOSS..as well as the lyrics...I stole this one from it for my lady, "forever grateful for your sweet, sweet love" ;)

The breakdown with the strings is SO AMAZING!!! This song is awesome.
