Ubuntu Linux 8.10 on a Toshiba Portege M700 with Touchscreen!

Me playing with version 8.10 of Ubuntu Linux on my Toshiba Portege M700. Running Avant Window Navigator (AWN Dock), Stalonetray (tray at the top right), Cellwriter (for writing while in tablet mode) and Easystroke (pen gesture control). Hello! I have the same tablet, I have tried to get the stylus and touch screen to work... However, it never worked for me...

Which tutorial did you follow?? Can you provide some info/ instructions please?? =)

@tomaskob Good news. Touchscreen, digtiizer and bluetooth all work out of the box with Ubuntu Desktop 9.10!

you know whats funny :) i got an hp printer and the thing never worked with vista even when it said it would, just in about 10min i got the printer working in Ubuntu Linux, so programmer from hp said it is not compatible with Linux but i get to differ ^-^
