the people that were "allowed" to leave china.. beyond being handpicked because of their extreme "loyalty" to the "motherland".. were given specific instructions on what to do once they arrived: 1) stick to your own community - take help from them - then give help to them - be the "quiet guy" (unlike trouble causing muslims) - dont assimilate or racially intermingle.. it is afterall "the quiet guy" that conventional wisdom always tried to warn us about.. how silly we are to ignore this!

China is not obliged to peaceful rise as long as U.S is keeping showing guns off its shore. Wouldn't America shoot some guns if Chinese put just a destroyer in Caribbean Sea?

I am a Taiwanese, or in other term a Chinese from Taiwan where people are not under the mainland China's regime.

We Chinese deserve everyright to live under democracy and the same common living standards ought to be shared by all human beings.

Becoming a great power for China isn't the main issue of world-threatening.

The real issue is that the de-Confucianized autocratic gang of the communist China has lost Chinese ancestor's sense of moral and goodness, and hence becomed unreliable to all!

Theoretically, the cost of changing a heavily oil based economy on the scale of US oil driven economy will do her over.

Just wait until oil runs out in 80 years.

China is good since it's invest billions (more than US) into green solar tech. Her dependence is obviously being strategically planned years ahead, whereas Americans are just beginning to realize their oil dependence is bad.

Besides, China just needs to wait, and America will self-destruct herself.
