  • Hey Dave

Great review - thanks! Maybe I should get one hehehe! I currently have the Edirol R-09HR and it does a fantastic job - I've been using it like a "wireless" microphone for about 6 months now, and it does an amazing job - just check any of my latest videos to see the result :)

  • Thumbs up if you got here from film riot! :P

  • @jamendolare The Zoom H4n is only a sound capturing device and doesn't record video, but you can use it with your DSLR/camcorder (if you have a video editing software) and synchronize with the video.

Also yes, the H4n has Phantom Power (12v and 48v) so you can use it with your Blue Yeti Pro and I just thought whats cool about the that is you can take advantage of the 2 outputs of your Yeti Pro because the H4n has 2 XLR inputs. Yes, you can use all 4 channels.

    I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU!

  • Can you make a video using the zoom h4n and the blue yeti pro recording in 4 channel mode??

  • wonderful detailed review! Can you connect H4N to iPhone via USB and directly record on iPhone? That would save the need for post-processing work?!

  • LOL @ 3:26

  • 2:10 - USB Audio I/F = USB Audio Interface.

Great video Dave, thanks for sharing!
