The Gift of Life--Kevin's 2 Heart Transplants

In October 2005 my father, Kevin Johnson, was diagnosed with idopathic cardiomyopathy. Since then he has had two cardiac transplants (June 2006 & February 2007). We are so very thankful to the Lord, everyone on the transplant team, and for the two families who donated the hearts of their loved ones. Through organ donation my family has received the gift of life!

UPDATE: Since the making of this video my father has went through a stem cell trasplant due to a rare blood disease that has been the cause of his heart failure. Please, please pray for his recovery!

I love your video. I donated my son's organs after a fatal motorcycle accident 3 years ago. I was able to meet his Kidney / pancreas recipient this past April- 2009. It is very relieving to see the good that mine and others choices have done. My thoughts are with you and your family. Please continue to push donation. It is so very important! Your living proof! I have already suffered 2 heart attack & have what my phsyican calls dangerously high triglycerides & LDL, and i was told that if i do not get these levels under control i will have another. This did frighten me and i knew i needed to do something to reverse this damage. I knew plant sterols were powerful so i tried Sterolyn, and i'm very proud to say that my triglycerides have gone from 512 all the way down to 155. LDL count down from 240 to 132. Great product.

Hi my name is Lacey Stephens I Live in Taylorville IL I had a heart transplant almost 2yrs ago I had 8 chest tubes 20 ivs I had the mechanical heart called the berlin heart. I recived the berlin 8-15/06 then 15 days later I got a new one. plz write back!!! I would love to chat with other pple like me.
