Retro Puppet Master, released in 1999 is the seventh entry in the Puppet Master series of horror films. It is the fifth prequel for the series, first starting three years after the events of Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge, and then goes back forty-two years before the events of the third one. It was the first of the films to be rated PG-13 for horror violence.

    why the hell dident they use the original music?? the puppet master theme is epic ! they realy dropped the ball with this one. its no wonder its taken them 11 years for a true sequel.

    it's kind of close and this is technically the very first one. like a lot of movies that come in a long series the puppet master movies are in the wrong order. If I remember correctly it should be this one, 3, 4, 5, 7, 1, 2, 6 or something like that.
