They didnt even mention the real cults like scientology and islam. Scientology even makes the morons,I mean mormons look normal.

Belief can be a powerful thing. Yet there is really no scientific proof that a God exist and that Jesus or Moses, etc. were sent from a God. There is more proof that Aliens exist and that they can be God. Think about it?

@eyewarnedyou also, the body of Christ is the Kingdom on earth, the Church, and there is one Church, not 40,000, Add anyone who want to start a non-denominational Church by getting a piece of paper, or self proclamation, and you have triple that. "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."John 10:15-17

@eyewarnedyou It is in scripture, it is not wrong. Authority come from God. And the Authority is Apostolic. But given your situation of non- denomination, not recognizing the authority, no one is expected to follow a man blindly. You should have a Bishop, a pastor is not a Bishop. He is shepherd, but not a Bishop in the Biblical sense. It is clear the authority comes from Christ to Apostles and transfered by the laying of hands. God's word is clear.

AMEN. We are to always pray (mediate) for others. Eph 6:18 Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and keep praying for God's people.

@For3nity...Exactly! Christ is our eternal mediator because only his sacrifice could pay for our eternal debt to God. While we are on earth, as long as we are still in the body of Christ (The Church) we can intercede on somebody else's behalf because our mediation is entirely dependent on his. St. Paul used this language in Col 1:24 !!!

@eyewarnedyou...Our intercession as Christians IS COMPLETELY DEPENDENT ON CHRIST'S. When we Catholics, or other Christian brethren, pray for others we are not doing it in such a way that it will bring eternal salvation. ONLY CHRIST CAN DO THAT. When we pray for one another we do so in a temporal way, because our existence on Earth is temporary. I think you're having trouble figuring out the scriptural modes of speech concerning salvation. Not all of them use the eternal mode.

@eyewarnedyou Are you suggesting that we can not pray for unbelievers that they may believe?...Are you saying then that you believe you can bring one to Christ without his assistance?...Do you not need to pray for the unbeliever asking for the assistance of Christ to help you convert this person?...This sounds like Pelagianism to me.
-
@eyewarnedyou Mediator, intercessor, whatever. When you pray for others, you are a mediator. Let's move to the next "WORD". Do you know the meaning of "believing" in Jesus?
God bless the Catholic Church
