A world-first freediving challenge has been successful. Freediving instructor and AMCS supporter, Mike Wells, has successfully dived Fish Rock Cave, Australia's longest ocean cave, on a single breath. This extraordinary event took place in mid August 2009.
Mike's motivation is both personal and charitable. The swim has been an ambition of his for years and was attempted to raise funds for our precious ocean wildlife and the work of AMCS.
AMCS campaigns to protect places such as Fish Rock Cave, a critical habitat of this much loved and critically endangered grey nurse shark.
what a pity that the terrible music has destroyed the grandeur of the place. I just could not continue watching & listening to the horrible sound. I had to put it off. However, the achievement is stupendous. congs.
