I hate hearing jackasses drunk and making noises at night but I would prefer listen to these beautiful animals.

Alaskan Malamute is not closely related to the wolf but it does still howl? Why is that? :) So amazing!
-
Good alarm clock to get up in the morning :)
-
And the tails, the tails are completely different. A Husky has a hanging tail, but a Malamute has a spitz tail.
-
@Nightavenger2 Also Siberian huskies have icy blue eyes usually
-
Remindsme of my old malamute never howled or bark just snore like no other.
-
Usually most of the malamutes don't bark much, they are more howlers. We always knew when someone was around that he didn't know becuase he would bark. Otherwise, they are quiet unless they hear sirens then let the howling begin! LOL
-
@Nightavenger2 the thing about thicker coats isnt always true we have a wooly coated husky. It is a genetic defect for huskies but does not effect their health. They have coats very very similar to the mals

First to the person who put this up
your alaskan malamute is beautiful, i have one named smokey too, almost the same exact colors just a different mask
Second:
To clear up all of the people writing about breeds and what not, the alaskan malamute originated in alaska, it is named after the native tribe who has been using the breed for thousands of years to pull sleds, help hunt seals, and defend against bears. That is the origin of this magnificent breed
