Making Elevators in Hammer - DETAILED

Hi this is my first video tutorial for Hammer Editor.

Plenty of people have asked me how to make elevators like in my map "surf_floating_city".

Also, many other video tutorials for making elevators were poorly made and didn't really explain enough for me to understand what to do.

This is dumb. If you want to make an elevator you use a func_tracktrain entity.

How were you makeing the walls

You use the Brush tool, drag out the dimensions of the walls in the 2D views, and press enter.

how do you move your camera and select at the same time

Move your mouse into the 3D view, and press Z.

It's pretty handy. ;)
