wow that was cool, i didnt know anything about lord of the rings except the stuff you get from the movie until looking at the comments. but i have one question. how did Gollum/Smeagol loose the ring to Bilbo in the first place, and how long do you think his temper tantrum lasted? lol

@TW1ZTYarms Over the years after getting the ring, one effect of Smeagol's transformation was that he didn't like the sun's light, so he went to live under/inside the Misty Mountains. In the Hobbit, Bilbo stumbled across the Ring in a cave under the mountains, and as he tries leaving Gollum essentially tries stopping him, moaning that his 'Precious is lost'. Then, Bilbo uses the Ring to become invisible and escape the caves, and Gollum curses Bilbo as he slips past him.

Has anyone else noticed that when the "Smeagol/Gollum" talk together while the Hobbitses are asleep, there is a difference in the eyes when the two speak(in the books, when Gollum was speaking, there was green light in his eyes). It's the black dots in their eyes. When Smeagol speaks, the dots are huge. When Gollum speaks, the dots are little.
